Top 2 - Expereimenting with tracing overlays in order to offer the sense of movement to my boat sketches as they looked too static and boring. Here I have placed the traced image to appear as the boat reflection on the water, the forecast was calm and uneventful so I struggled to try and find ways of making the image appear more intresting. However with this layering and the combination of mediums I think I'm having more success in implying what kind of weather and condition the boat is in.Bottom - A series of three traced images overlayed to offer the suggestion of the rolling and pitching of the boat at sea, once again experimenting with how I can imply that the portland area was calm and uneventful.
