Here are just a few sketches that I did from my travels in Thailand this summer, my family and I spent 2 weeks away, 4days in Bangkok doing some frantic shopping and nagotiation and then 9 relaxing days in Patong, Phuket at the Amari Coral Beach. Amazing place to stay and the best 2 weeks, I thoroughly reccomend Phuket and hope to return soon.
The pictures are as follows (top to bottom)
1. Tuk Tuk - these are the standard and very quirky large scooter/flat beds that are the best way to get around Bangkok. The alternative in Phuket are pretty cool too! Pic to follow.
2. Elephant Trekking - while in Patong we were lucky enough to go elephant trekking, the photos of us on the move arn't great but I managed to get a few of Dan as he plodded off in front. Great fun but surprisingly difficult to stay mounted to the elephants especially when going down hill on their necks.
3. Blowfish - Big surprise to see this spikey fella washed up on the beach one morning when we were heading over to breakfast in Patong one morning. =)
